📚 Description

#95 proposed skilld self: index the workspace into a local BM25 database and answer skilld search "..." -p self. ADR 0001 moved generation out of the CLI and v3 deleted the index runtime, so that command has nowhere to live. The v3 answer already exists as generate-project-skill, and #96 carried over its navigation ideas.

What was missing is the way in. skills/skilld/SKILL.md is the only asset an Agent installs globally, and it never named generate-project-skill, generate-package-skill, or review-skill. An Agent asked to write a Skill from the current project had no command to reach for, and the removed author command only pointed at two of the three.

The project Skill now has to carry what the index used to answer: manifest entry points, the directories an Agent reads most, and rg commands it can repeat. Named ignores and a 512 KB cap came from #95, which had them right.

Loose end: the watch mode in #33 is still not delivered and I did not try. Re-running the Skill after a big refactor is the current story. If that turns out to be the friction people actually hit, watching is a separate change.

… Skills

v2 PR #95 proposed `skilld self`: a CLI command that built a local BM25
index of the workspace and answered `skilld search -p self`. ADR 0001
moved generation out of the CLI and v3 deleted the index runtime, so the
command cannot exist.

The value that survives is the path itself. The `skilld` Skill, the only
asset an Agent installs globally, never named generate-project-skill, so
no Agent could find it. Name it, and make the project Skill carry the
search commands the index used to answer.
