Use Replicate's official glyph for the provider icon - #4411
giuseppebisemi wants to merge 1 commit into
Conversation
Replace the hand-drawn pixel R with the three-corner glyph from the replicate.com site header. The polygons are unchanged; the viewBox adds padding so the solid mark covers about as much of the 18 pt slot as the other provider icons instead of filling it edge to edge.

Technical reviewBest possible solution: Land the scoped glyph replacement while preserving the existing rendering and asset-generation paths. Do we have a high-confidence way to reproduce the issue? Current-main SVG contents establish the pixel-art R, and the contributor’s before screenshots show that artwork in the app; no target code was executed during this read-only review. Is this the best way to solve the issue? Replacing the existing assets is appropriately small, preserves their resource names and template rendering, and avoids a competing implementation. The Replicate icon is a pixel-art "R" rather than Replicate's logo. Their actual mark is three nested corners, and replicate.com ships it in the site header as an inline SVG titled
Replicate glyph. I copied its three polygons unchanged, with acurrentColorfill.I did change one thing: the viewBox. Drawn edge to edge, the glyph is a solid square that filled the whole 18 pt slot, and macOS clipped its edges in the menu bar. Padding the viewBox to
-125 -125 1250 1250brings it in line with the other provider icons: rendered at 18 pt @2x, it covers about as much area as the median of the other 95 (426 vs 388, inside their 305–496 middle half), where the unpadded glyph would sit above the 75th percentile. If you'd rather tune it, that's the only number to change.Files:
