Since 6.4.0.0, tests/benchmarks/test_vector_benchmarks.py loads unit.common.vector.test_vector straight out of the `driver` git submodule via tests/_driver.py, instead of the vendored copy under tests/vector/from_driver/ that earlier releases shipped. Our checkout step never fetched that submodule, so collection failed with FileNotFoundError on driver/tests/unit/common/vector/test_vector.py for every interpreter. Check out the submodule and add it to CIBW_TEST_SOURCES alongside tests/ so it lands next to tests/_driver.py in the isolated test dir.
…s tests need Collection now gets past the FileNotFoundError from the previous fix, but driver/tests/_optional_deps.py does `import mock` unconditionally (the PyPI backport, not stdlib unittest.mock), which CIBW_TEST_REQUIRES never installed: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'mock'
