Summary

  • Drop the Experimental / behind a feature flag callout from the Saved Trees section — the saved-metrics-tree flag is being removed and Saved Trees become the only Canvas surface.
  • Reframe the How to use the Canvas view steps so the entry point is "select a Saved Tree from the sidebar" or "click New Tree", instead of describing the legacy ad-hoc canvas flow.
  • Mention the new Load more button in the sidebar (canvas now drains the catalog page-by-page rather than blasting through every page on mount).
  • Add a one-liner pointing existing customers at the auto-created Project Metrics tree, which is backfilled from any UI-authored relationships drawn in the previous Canvas view.
  • Remove the "Unlike the ad-hoc canvas …" comparison since the ad-hoc canvas no longer exists.

Test plan

  • Mintlify preview renders correctly
  • No broken anchors (#drivers, #browsing-the-catalog)
  • Visual: numbered list reads cleanly with the new step ordering

the only Canvas surface. Refresh the guide to drop the alpha tag, reframe
the "How to use" steps around picking or creating a tree, and call out the
auto-migrated "Project Metrics" tree for projects upgrading from the legacy
ad-hoc canvas.
