Summary
fern mcp installis a new CLI command that points a local coding agent — Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex — at Fern's MCP server. It reuses the tokenfern loginalready stored, so customers get agent access to their docs search, site configuration, analytics, and reader feedback in one command instead of a second manual OAuth setup per agent.Implements docs for: feat(cli): add

fern/products/cli-api-reference/pages/commands.mdx— newfern mcp installrow in the command table plus an accordion covering thefern loginprerequisite, the config file written per client, theFERN_TOKENrejection and token-expiry re-run caveat, and the--client/--orgflags (including the scoped vs. unscoped MCP URL). Structure follows the existingfern org …/fern loginaccordions.fern/products/docs/pages/ai/mcp-server.mdx— one sentence distinguishing the org-level Fern MCP server from the docs-site MCP server this page documents, linking to the new command section. Reference-only, so the CLI page owns the detail. No changelog entry: this is a CLI feature, not a Docs-product feature.
Validation:
pre-commit run --files <changed>passes (remaining Vale warnings are pre-existing lines),fern check --warningsreports 0 errors, and all 5 CI checks pass.Link to Devin session: https://app.devin.ai/sessions/11ae772e99d64c1c927ebfd5adfd5897
