To be merged after the discussion in packit/deployment#679 is done. Otherwise, would you give it a try and check that everything works as intended? I basically copied the logic for handling extras/pagure_bz.json from here, but not much more than that.
If you could give a review of that PR, it would be great. I did not add a logic for dealing with retired packages because I am not sure if the user would always want to exclude those.
