Summary

The crash handler now finds libbacktrace-native.so on Google Play installs, where it ships in the ABI split instead of base.apk.

Changes

  • CrashHandlerConfiguration.java: same resolver as backtrace-android, takes the library path from the linker, falls back to the extracted library, the ABI split, then base.apk.
  • AbiHelper.java: uses the ABI of the running process, falls back to SUPPORTED_ABIS.
  • BacktraceCrashHandlerRunner.java: logs the library path after loading it.
  • CrashHandlerConfigurationTest.java: new, covers each library path and the handler environment.
  • android-native-crash.sh: INSTALL=apk installs the APK, INSTALL=split installs the bundle like Google Play and checks the handler loaded the library from the ABI split.
  • verify-jni-symbols.sh: checks the resolveLoadedLibraryPath export.
  • android.yml: builds the bundle, runs the crash check in both modes.
