Reviewed the complete CONTRIBUTING.md addition. The contributor-guide link reaches the intended Comet documentation. One P2 remains: the new file lacks the header required by the existing RAT preflight check. This finding is based on the pinned workflow, configuration, and RAT source; RAT was not executed, and the three action_required workflow runs have no executed jobs.
