ABAP Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform, ABAP Environment, ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model, & SAP Joule for developers
This repository contains the material for the SAP CodeJam topics covering: ABAP Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform, ABAP Environment & ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model & Joule for developers. Prerequisites and recommendations for these CodeJams are documented in the prerequisites file.
These CodeJam topics introduce attendees to ABAP Cloud, the SAP Business Technology Platform ABAP Environment, aka Steampunk and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model. Learn how to use proven and new technologies, such as Core Data Services (CDS) and behavior definition and implementation languages, to build SAP Fiori apps and OData services with the SAP BTP, ABAP Environment. In this hands-on experience, developers will create their first ABAP applications in the SAP BTP, ABAP Environment, expose and consume services via HTTP, and explore the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model, all while leveraging SAP Joule for developers.
The material consists of a series of exercises per topic focus. Each is meant to be a seperate CodeJam experience and each exercise is meant to be independent of each other so, attendees can potential pick and choose which exercise to work on, but we will focus usually on one for the day.
Here's an overview of the exercises for all versions of SAP CodeJam ABAP. Depending on the specific topic of the day, the instructer will inform you which exercise to work from below.
- Getting Started
- Exercise 1 - Creating your first ABAP classes
- Exercise 2 - Exposing and Consuming Services via HTTP
