I have been using roaring bitmaps extensively in my research work and have found them incredible.
I find myself doing one repetitive task while designing systems around roaring bitmaps: calculating the size and performance profiles of roaring bitmaps at different sizes and densities. I figured a static website hosting 3d plots of these metrics (measured from real microbenchmarks) might be a useful reference for the community.
