guideline to index notifications in db

Hi

Is there a guideline for a recommended way to store notificaitons in a way that we can achieve the most basic logic of notifications functionality like

• query by user id
• read / unread status

looking at the docs u can find pieces of this but i could not find any guide on how one should crawl notifications ... what fields would be relevant for anyone implementing Onesignal in order to create a decent UX exp for their users
