Binaries reproducibility question

Binaries 26.06.7 release notes say:

Reproducing the binaries. Full build instructions will accompany the source release. This release was not built with the default optimisation settings, so a standard build will not reproduce these checksums; the exact parameters will be published alongside the source.

Should we understand from that that we will be able to build the binaries in a reproducible way (getting same checksums) with the undisclosed source code when it becomes available?

Yes, but the scripts we usually use won't. You will need to run the commands we will publish with the source as well to get the same binaries.
