! Soil - architecture & design

Norbert Hartl (norbert@apptivegrid.de)
Marcus Denker (marcus.denker@inria.fr)

""Abstract:""

Soil is a light-weight object-oriented database for pharo. It turns a pharo image into a database instance that supports state-of-the-art abilities like ACID-transactions, MVCC and more. It aims to be a small and comprehensible database library that can be adjusted to individual use cases.

This talk will be an in-depth view on the architecure, design and algorithms that drive Soil. A report on the current state and plans for the near future. Aim of this talk is to learn about other ideas. So we try to make room for questions
