The PR description says the gradle ecosystem targets /**, but the file enumerates only / and /plugins. In practice this covers the whole repo because Dependabot's Gradle fetcher follows include entries in settings.gradle (settings.gradle includes :sdk, :sdkMock, :sample; plugins/settings.gradle includes :library, :sample), so all build files are reachable. Worth confirming intent though: if a new Gradle build root is added elsewhere later (not included from either settings file), it will silently not be watched, whereas a /** glob would pick it up.
