Detect duplicate events

We have multiple sources for events and it is very likely same event will be listed in multiple sources. We need an algorithm to detect duplicate events.

Sources:

• ical calendars (google, teamup, etc.)
• facebook events (it is possible that each promoter creates their own facebook event)
• official websites of events
• web calendars

• goandance.com
• danceplace.com
• latindancecalendar.com
• mapdance.com

The unique identifier of the event is where and when it is happening, so the id could be combination of:

• ISO time of the beginning
• geocode

Examples:

• 20230102T0200+USA+NY+Q257+5Q - Sat 1, January 2023 at 18:00 at Time Square, New York
• 20230101T1700+DE+Munich+4HWC+VW - Sat 1, January 2023 at 18:00 at Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich
