Introduction

As a data purchaser on the Request Network, you play a crucial role in our ecosystem. By purchasing data, you contribute to maintaining a robust and dynamic marketplace. This guide provides all necessary instructions to begin purchasing data from our validators securely and efficiently.

Registering as a Data Purchaser

To start purchasing data, you must first register through the Request Network User Interface (UI). Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the registration page: Request Network Data Purchaser Registration
  2. Fill in the required fields, including your name, email, and contact information.
  3. Create a password and set up two-factor authentication for enhanced security.
  4. Submit your registration form and await verification email confirmation.

Setting Up Your ERC20 Wallet

All transactions on the Request Network are conducted using ERC20 tokens. Here’s how to set up your wallet:

  1. Choose a reputable wallet provider that supports ERC20 tokens.
  2. Register and create a new wallet. Note the wallet address and keep it secure.
  3. Store your private keys and backup phrases in a secure location. Never share them with anyone.

Accessing Data

Once registered, you can access data through the validated endpoints provided by our network validators. Use the following steps:

  1. Log into your dashboard on the Request Network UI.
  2. Navigate to the "Data Marketplace" section.
  3. Browse available data sets and select the ones you need.
  4. Use the provided API endpoints to send requests. For example:
curl -X GET "https://api.validator.com/data?token=YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN" -H "Content-Type: application/json"

Replace https://api.validator.com/data with the actual endpoint provided after registering with a validator.
