Option to keep enums in one file

Is there a way to place all generated enums in one file while allowing everything else to be generated in separate files? It would make providing lists to business analysts and other stakeholders easier.

See this single-enum-file-ttinclude.zip file which contains a EF.Reverse.POCO.v3.ttinclude to do just that. Replace your project file with this one.

What's changed:

In private void GenerateCode(IDbContextFilter filter) change the following to be:

This was not a permanent file change to the main project, it was an update specifically for you.

The current version has new helper functions in the Settings class, so your Update column delegate can simply be:

Settings.UpdateColumn = delegate(Column column, Table table, List<EnumDefinition> enumDefinitions, List<JsonColumnMapping> jsonColumnMappings)
{
    Settings.ApplyJsonPropertyNameAttribute(column);
    Settings.ApplyJsonColumnMappings(column, table, jsonColumnMappings);
    Settings.ApplyDataAnnotations(column);
    Settings.ApplyEnumTypeReplacement(column, table, enumDefinitions);
};

However, that will still create separate files for your enums. You could reapply your patch above, but that is a pain each time you update....

I'll re-open this issue as I'd have to make this configurable via Settings.

Thank you. I deleted my comment after I went back and spotted a misplaced brace in the re-applied code but I guess you saw it. 😉
