Pascal Capture - invalid request on room scan

What happened?

Room scan works but doesn't save in the project with the error invalid_request.

Steps to reproduce

device: iPhone 14 Pro
iOS 26.6
Logged in via Google, created a new project and scanned a room, error on Save

Expected behavior

Can save a room in a project.

Thanks for the report, and sorry — a scan that completes and then won't save is about the worst place to fail.

Diagnosing this from the screenshot isn't possible, and that's our fault rather than yours: the save endpoint returns invalid_request from five different validation paths, each with a details field explaining which one, and the build you were on wasn't showing you that field. So "invalid_request" is all the information that reached you, and all that reached me.

That's fixed. Since 1.0.5 the app surfaces the specific reason — you'd now see something like "captureId: Invalid capture id" instead of the bare code. The current App Store version is well past that.

Could you update and try the same scan again? Either it saves, or it tells you exactly which check failed — and either outcome is progress. If it still fails, paste the new message and I can go straight to the cause.

For what it's worth your hardware is fine here; the iPhone 14 Pro has LiDAR, so this is unrelated to the non-LiDAR issue in #567. I'll close as stale in a couple of weeks if I don't hear back, but happy to dig in if it reproduces.
