Describe the feature
Expose npmx.dev as a command-line interface and/or terminal user interface. This would bring the superior npm browsing experience to the terminal, making it easier for devs to use npmx closer to their development environment.
A nice way to distribute this would be through the now-parked npmx package: npmx.dev/package/npmx.
This is obviously a big endeavour, so dividing it up into smaller milestones would be useful. For example:
- just expose searching for packages and viewing basic information (I made a PoC here using OpenTUI)
- package management, related to the existing
npx-connector
- social features, atproto login
- additional tools and functionality
