Xcode genuinely is horrible to work with at most points, with the new AI Slop, weird build failures, constant crashes and massive size. Its genuinely a pain to use. so a macOS version of YCode would be a good idea.
Being a developer on iOS and macOS, If any help would be needed to port this over to macOS i'd be happy to help as i had an idea of making this for a while.
