Meshes 1.1.7 does not mark DM read.

I have a conversation with someone, and it still show the unread dot with 3 in it.  Going back and forth in the DM does not mark them read.
How to get the unread count working again ?
Tried save message of and reboot and then save message on again, but that does not remove it. (Neither removes the messages)
