I have a fully working fork at https://github.com/cycloarcane/TUI-ConsoleLauncher.

Looks nice and promising.
Some small build intro would be nice in Readme to onboard normal users.

I was using this launcher for several years and loved it. Lately updated my phone and still struggling to use different one. Would love to have this one with little more up today build.
I could even contribute some time to this project(more of a .net fighter but used java before).

If there are some other long time users that would consider reviving this project maybe we could have some discussion?

@fandreuz would you consider license changing or minimal effort to help us resurrect this project?

Don't have much experience with open source projects so ideas on how to allow this project to move on are welcome.

yeah I'll also just whack up an apk for ease, ideally we could get it in f-droid. The licensing is fairly permissive if credit it given r.e dev, but I think there would be issues with publishing on f-droid

The f-droid version is still the 2019 one, but the compatibility changes I made have been merged into the main of @fandreuz project. It might make sense to work in mine then I can less frequent larger pull requests upstream if needed as I think the original author may be time constrained to focus on it too often, but I have no particular preference personally.

I'm not exactly sure on the steps to get f-droid rebuilding the new compatible package and whether they have had breaking changes to the automatic build process which seems fairly likely in the last 7 years.

That's for the weather feature I believe, I get the same error when disabling precise let me look into that
