Hi, I have been following the btrfs raid56 scrub issues for quite a while, but recently got interested in looking through the code. While looking through the code I came across this issue linking to the mailing list post I had found. I figured I would reach out here before posting in the mailing list.

As a potential first time contributor, would it help move this issue along if I rebased the patches and made the necessary updates? I am aware that this would require some significant rewrites as there appears to have been some significant work done in scrub.c since this patch set.

Is there anything important I should know about why this patch set stalled out? As far as I can tell from the mailing list this was just never followed up on.
