[REQUEST]: Teleport to another player's waypoint

Problem

Hi, maybe it's a bit off-topic for this script but I would like to know if that's possible to add an option to TP to another player's waypoint?

If that's not possible - it's totally fine because I never seen this feature in any mod menu.
I mean I only saw "TP to My Waypoint".

Solution

I never managed to do it on my own. But I had the idea of simulating that I was in the same car as the player to get his waypoint coordinates. I know it's probably sounds pretty funny.. but I have no other ideas.

I've had the idea to add a player list but I only ever play the game occasionally to write code and I'm always in a private solo session. I don't even know if it's possible to play with other people or not anymore but yeah, this should be a very straightforward implementation. If I decide to not add a playerlist to the online tab (because I have nothing of any significance to put in it), I'll just add this as a command where you could type something like tptoplayer mrhussel into the commands console.

In any case, let's keep this open as a reminder because I've been tripping ballz trying to add multiple things at the same time 🤣

Yeah, that would be great in any form. I just want to clarify that I meant teleporting to another player's waypoint (not their actual position, but the position of that purple dot on the map that they placed). So something like tpw PlayerName would be great.

Yeah I got you. There are these two natives that freemode uses to set your waypoint to a player's waypoint when you get in their car. I think we can use them to set the coords and do a regular waypoint tp but I'm not sure, I have never used or researched these natives:

No problem. For the color parameter in SET_APPLY_WAYPOINT_OF_PLAYER you can use whatever works but if you want the exact waypoint color index it's 147 iirc

hey, i just tested the latest version.
the "tp to waypoint" is only working if i'm in the same car with the target player.
it doesn't work if I just call it from anywhere.

i got the same results with my code:

Yeah I had a feeling it wasn't that simple. We need to reverse SET_APPLY_WAYPOINT_OF_PLAYER to figure out where the function gets the coordinates from. It could be stored in CNetGamePlayer or somehwere similar but I unfortunately have no time to check I barely managed to release this half assed update. I'll re-open the issue in the meantime until we figure something out.
