How do I add a definitions folder?

I don't want to annoy anybody with context that they don't even need, so basically: I want to put files in a definitions\ folder and make the language server think everything in that folder is global, and also disable diagnostics in that folder.

It is not an exact match, but I would look at the meta annotation that you can put on the top of each file https://github.com/LuaLS/lua-language-server/wiki/Annotations#meta to see if it solves your needs.

It does somewhat work for what I'm tryna do, and I can also maybe use diagnostic disable for no diagnostic, but I mean doing this for every single file IS pretty annoying. I'm gonna stick with that right now, THANK YOU!!! If anybody has a better approach, I'm listening!

You should be able to use workspace.library in combination with diagnostics.libraryFiles.
