Feature request: add an option to export images with a transparent background

Many skeletal formula drawing-apps that I'm familiar with have the option to export SVGs with transparent backgrounds. It would be useful for those of us that intend to upload our graphics to Wikimedia Commons, as transparent backgrounds are preferred there.

Yes it already does it - might not be in the released version yet though.

I am running the nightly release and it doesn't ask me whether I want a transparent background when I save as SVG. Nor do I see an option to in Edit->Preferences.

Will take a look I was testing using the copy which might do things slightly differently to saving.
