Adding notifications to the action bar, as well as audio and visual feedback. Visual feedback has been partially implemented—specifically for cases where a player attempts an action in a protected area—but it is currently very limited.

I'm not really sure what this is asking for. We shouldn't just be adding extra visual & audio notifications when not necessary.

This issue would need to explain where this is lacking and what it achieves. The plugin shouldn't be spamming players with stimuli, it should provide just enough information so that players know what's happening, without overloading them. Just adding noises/visual elements to everything is poor user experience design.

As for the action bar, it's a bit of a messy one as it doesn't really handle multiple bits of input very well (and is a much worse experience for those using accessibility aides with large amounts of input). From a UX design perspective, it seems the action bar is more meant for much less frequent "notification" type events, rather than something that might happen frequently. So for something like protection messages it's not a good fit. That's not to say there aren't places where it might make sense, such as for region greeting/farewell messages.
