So, in going through my example tonight, I discovered that our use cases for L1 and L2 audits don't require a current building modeled scenario, they actually require pointing back to the current building measured scenario. My thoughts on this:
- For an L1 audit, we don't require detailed consumption / savings information to be provided within the scenario, we only need to suffice the requirements of the
SimpleImpactAnalysis element (high/med/low estimates). Therefore, for L1, I think it is OK that we only require a current building measured scenario, and require that all POM scenarios point back to it (i.e. ReferenceCase) (which is what our current schematron achieves).
- For an L2 audit, however, since we are looking for detailed consumption / savings information, I think we should require a
current building modeled scenario (in addition to the measured), BUT all POM scenarios should point to the modeled scenario via ReferenceCase
